Diamond in the Rough

Diamond in the rough...Dull and shapeless be...
There are no points of brightness...
For all the world to see...
Rough and ragged...Without shape or form...
Hidden within the earth...
All dusty and forlorn...
Then one day the Master came...
And plucked you from the earth...
He held you in the palm of His hand...
And imagined all of your worth...
Step by step with His artful touch...
Each tiny cut was made...
Through many hours of countless trials...
His craftsmanship was laid...
In this life...We are but a diamond...
Rough and ragged and lost...
Until the Master lays His hands to our lives...
And makes us priceless...
Where once we were lost...
